Made in Germany 😊❤
Dont wear it in london. Some gang will rip it off your finger.
5000 was the right price 10,000 for insurance is the same, sniffling, juhaptergee
She was shocked at the value… he was shocked because all of the years of her saying: get rid of that piece of junk was finally vindicated 😂
Oooh that’s what he looked like younger❤
Is that all?
How many socks do you have?!
She's see's herself as a saucy minx. Only problem is that guy isnt interested in women.
Beautiful
Abused??? It's a toy - meant to be played with - by children.
I'd still sink it!
I'm not the only one who expected a secret compartment with treasure right?
Because work of art
The wife has been saying for years get rid of that ugly old dust trap…..
What does she mean by 'fired' does it have a working steam engine or something?
Yes. Maybe candle??
I would love to see it when it has been cleaned.
Yep there's a holiday 😅
It's not a green Zircon. Shame on the expert.
A minute repeater is crazy, especially in something this tiny and old.
Lovely thing
Incredible that the box is there.
I want one, never mind the value. It could be a fiver and I still want one.
Pretentious pinky ring but a nice discussion nonetheless
Your face is pretentious!
I always enjoy these..I wish I could leave heirlooms for my grandneices but alas I don't have money or taste
You can leave a notebook with all your memories in it, from childhood to adulthood. Including where your grandparents lived, family addresses, how those houses were laid out as regards furniture, how you celebrated Christmas as a kid and what toys you got. The list is endless, you'll need more than one large notebook! They'll be thrilled with it later in life, and after that it could even be sold to collectors of journals and diaries as regards social history and won't ever end up in landfill ❤️ I'd LOVE to have had a collection of memories from my family
@@VMM34great idea 😊
How lovely to see the great John Bly again.
I’d pay A lot more than that !!
Wery nise prowgramme . Eye lyke Annteaks 👍
It could be worth millions of pond had it been auctioned off in China
Would be nice to see the year of the show
5k go on and the rest. then i looked at a couple of comments 86k more like it
Ridiculous, paying that amount of money for a painting - and my 9-year-old granddaughter can paint better than that.
I bet they went straight to the Algarve to celebrate.
This was evaluated when the pound was still worth something. 2000 pounds then would be 20.000 today.
The most interesting item is the Metropolitan Electric locomotive, solely because it’s the High Voltage version ( powered direct from mains via a variable resistance and 2 lightbulbs) as they were so dangerous to operate, at that voltage, they weren’t around too long in the U.K. the British Govt legislated against mains powered toy trains in the UK( they were still sold in France and mainland Europe, it didn’t matter too much to the British Govt if French children got electrocuted)
How many years ago was made this video? Probably now the prices of the models are between 10 and 100 times
I have them on the auction block so fast…
they sell them in ikea thats where he got it
Oh yeah. There’s fruitwood there alright
These days we know from Flog It that the valuers are nearly always wrong.
wild chest of drawers with Elizabethan panels, wow.
I'm addicted to wood in furniture and home decoration. Bars, Bar poles. I love wood.
The comment about the power unit being letahl rings true. I believe the early eletrical transformer unit was, to say the least, dodgy. Some earlier ones, made in Germany, were even worse, being fed directly from the mains, with a large, red bulb to act as a votage reducer!
Jeepers!!
Can I buy them for 80k? Please?
The price points said here are way too low
>This clip was filmed in Blackpool in 2000.
This was 24 years ago, probably even more now
10:26 - An insurance valuation is three times the retail value, and the retail value is three times what a piece of jewellery would command at auction... The moral of the story? If it comes in Ethiopian, think before you sign.
A little friction going on, with wife saying her husband kept the bay window curtains open. Could tell she was smart enough to know it would ruin the wood table. Husband on the other hand being the patriarch, ruled the roost. Hence reason for the damaged wood.
I find it interesting how the children all appear to be miniature adults. And the detail of the objects on the table, is outstanding.
That is the most beautiful music box I've ever seen and heard. That guy knew what he was doing when he restored it
I loved the guy with the Mickey Mouse toy.
